Carob Baked Oats

 Suitable for those following a moderate food chemical elimination diet! This breakfast can be prepped in advance and made in a larger batch - just transfer to jars and keep refrigerated. While cocoa is high in food chemicals, carob is a suitable alternative.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp carob

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a blender, add the oats, banana, milk, maple syrup, baking powder, salt, and carob. Blend.
  3. Transfer evenly to 2 oven-safe ramekins then bake for 25 min.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
